For the best result first follow the golden rules of preparation here. Then make sure you choose a Brummer shade which most closely matches the colour of timber or furniture to be repaired.

Follow our guide for colour matching here. Apply the Brummer and allow to dry. Then with a very fine brush and artist’s colours (water or oil) paint fine lines to achieve a natural wood grain effect. When dry apply polish or Brummer Varnish to match the surrounding finish.
