Can I varnish over Brummer?

Yes you can. We recommend Brummer Varnish which protects and enhances the natural beauty of wood and is available in matt, satin and gloss finishes. And don’t forget Brummer fillers accept most other types of decorative finish such as stains, paints, lacquers and polishes.

However be careful if using some acid catalyser varnishing systems because these may discolour the Brummer, so always remember to carry out a test on a sample area first.
